The Wheels On The Bus

This is the bus that started it all. The obsession with "The Wheels On The Bus" song. Having to ride any mechanical object at the mall or grocery store. Saying "Bus!" anytime we are in any mall parking lot (yes, she knows it's a mall). The Layton Hills mall is the only one that has a bus.

The last time we went there she did let me put her in the green car, and she loved it!

So then she had to ride the caterpillar. Even though the look on her face seems like she was afraid, she really did have a blast.

We went to the mall here in Logan yesterday and of course as soon as we get out of the car she starts saying, "Bus! Mommy, Please. Bus!" We went to the little arcade and there wasn't a bus, but there was a car. (Phone picture)
And a helicopter. (Another phone picture)
She was so good while we were there, I took her to play in the kid play area. She thought it was the coolest thing ever! She ran around and screamed and laughed for a long time. I'll have to take her back to play often, especially on bad weather days.

Wedding Weekend

A couple weeks ago, Ben's brother Austin and his girlfriend Shannon were married. We had a fun, and busy, weekend with the rehearsal dinner and wedding.

Here's my little Ky-Ky all dressed up for the rehearsal dinner.

She pretty much played the whole time everyone rehearsed. When it was her turn to walk down the aisle she did so good! She held my hand the whole way down and said "Walk, walk. Walk, walk, walk."

Waiting patiently to go eat dinner at the Lion House.

Me and my sweetie pie! (Ignore my hair, it was SO hot and windy! I promise it looked a lot better when the day started.)

Flashin' the I Love You sign.

The morning of the wedding she looked so stinkin' cute I made Ben take some pictures of her.

We LOVE to go to the Market Street Grill downtown for breakfast so that's where everyone went that morning. She was a little restless waiting for our food so Ben took her outside.

Later that day we got all dressed up and headed down to Red Butte Gardens for the wedding. She looked so adorable and absolutely loved her princess dress.

My good lookin' family!

My extremely handsome hubby! (His brother Tim forgot his tie so all the groom's men went tie-less.)

Walking down the aisle with the most beautiful little flower girl ever!

She touched as many flowers as she could the whole way and when we got to everyone at the end she smiled really big and said "Ta Da!".

Yep, she's a show stealer!

A really pretty picture of Shannon getting ready to walk down the aisle.

Watching the cerimony. She sat really quiet for a while, but started talking so I took her to the back.

The bride and groom.

The reception afterwards was really fun. Kylee said hi to nearly everyone there and loved twirling and dancing in her purple dress.
Kylee giving her Daddy a big kiss.
We headed out before the dancing and cake cutting because Ky had reached her limit for the night and was going to get cranky any minute, but we heard it was a blast.

Ky's First Steps!

Okay, obviously by the name of this post it's an old one. I was looking at videos on our video camera last night and noticed this one had never been posted. I didn't have time to transfer it from computer to computer, so I played it on the video camera screen and recorded it on my phone. Not the best quality, but it's super darling!! She had only taken a step or so each time before this, so we caught it at the perfect moment. I love how proud of herself she is!

My Little Sweetie!

I just LOVE these pictures and her sweet little smile in them. She looks so big! Where did my little baby go?! I have the prettiest little princess ever!!

Yep, always sucking her thumb and playing with her hair.

AAWWW!!!!I just love being her mommy!!

Happy Birthday Benny Poo!

Okay, so this post is almost a month late, but I still wanted to get it on here!

Ben was super busy on his birthday, but I still wanted to do something special. We made him a yummy breakfast and had dinner with cake after. We even found him this super cool birthday hat, which he so graciously wore.

I wanted to have something fun for the birthday person in our family, but do something different than the red You Are Special Today plate. I found this and a really cute saucer that were perfect!

Kylee loved the hat and even got her daddy to let her wear it!

She wore it all night and has been playing with it everyday since.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BENNY POO!! WE LOVE YOU!!!
