A Full Pony!!

Yay! We can do a full ponytail now!! Of course we can't do it if we'll be in the car because the car seat messes it up, but it's pretty darling!! She LOVES it up like this too, even though it makes playing with her hair while she sucks her thumb a little difficult.

Caught Ya!!

I caught Kylee with her finger in her nose in the car the other day and I just had to take some pictures. These make me laugh every time I see them!

Yep, she's pretty dang cute!!!

My Sweethearts!

Yep, I am so in love with these two! They know how to make any day a better one.

Grandma Hoss

I just want to say how much I love my mom. She has always been a wonderful mom and is such an amazing grandma. Definitely the best! Love you mom!!!

Kylee's Love Sac

Ever since we moved and brought out this bad boy, Kylee pretty much takes it over. She climbs up in it (with some huffing and puffing) and settles right in. It's her favorite spot to watch movies and cuddle with her animals. When I ask her if she wants to sit on the couch or the sac it's always, "Sac!".

Model In The Making

We took some pictures at Ben's brother Austin's wedding in the photobooth and I totally forgot we let Kylee take one all by herself. I think it is so darling!! She's totally pulling a Blue Steel face!

Hot Tub Time

Ben's parents have a hot tub and since it's getting colder outside I decided Kylee is old enough to start getting in now. She doesn't get to be in deeper than her waist, but she still loves it.

Especially because she gets to splash as much as she wants since she's outside. Lucky Daddy Ü.

Tough Little Cookie!

A few weeks ago my little bug got stung by a bee :(. She was such a trooper though! We were outside and she came up to me with a smile on her face saying, "Mommy, bug!". I looked and she had a bee on her arm. I told her how neat it was and shoed it away. A few seconds later she started saying, "Hurt. Mommy, hurt." and making kissy noises for me to kiss it better. I looked and she had the stinger still sticking out of her finger. I pulled it out, kissed it better and she said, "Rock! Two rock!" She bent down, picked up a couple rocks and started playing again. Yep, not even phased! I'm pretty sure I whined way more than that when I got stung this summer!

We went inside to put some ice on it since it was getting really swollen and I'm sure it hurt. She let me hold the ice on for a minute or so and was off to play with the pans. Funny girl Ü. When Ben got home that night she told him all about it and had him kiss it better too. She was a little more dramatic this time though since she's Daddy's little princess.

Halloween Weekend!

I just have to say how much I LOVE Halloween. I don't know why, but I just do. I've always liked it and started thinking about what I was going to be months in advance when I was little. Ben, however, does not like Halloween even though if I ask him to he will gladly dress up. I'm glad I have Kylee to get all dressed up and be silly with me!

This year she was Dorothy and looked so darling! I must say I'm pretty proud of myself for how cute her costume turned out. I found the white dress and a white and blue checkered shirt at the DI. The dress had TONS of awful lace on it which I cut off most of and I turned the shirt into a dress that I sewed to the white one so it was one piece. The little basket also came from the DI and Toto was borrowed from my niece. I found the shoes at Kmart which were perfect!

My darling nieces Preslee and Allie slept over Friday night and went trick-or-treating with us at the Logan mall.

After Ky's nap we headed down to my Mom and Dad's and went trick-or-treating in their neighborhood. Well, we only went to 2 houses and it started raining pretty good. Here is Kylee and some of her cousins that went together.

I dressed up as the Wicked Witch to match Ky's costume. I painted my face in the car on the way down from Logan and when Kylee saw me she kept saying, "More Shrek! More Shrek!". Apparently I was a better Shrek than witch.

We left there and went to Ben's parent's house so we could do some trick-or-treating with his Aunt Diane. Kylee thought she looked pretty silly!

Here's a picture of the back of her very wrinkly dress. I'm not sure why it's so wrinkled, but it's still pretty cute!

She had so much fun and got "trick-e-treat" down pretty quick. She got so much candy too! Her little basket was pretty heavy!

When we got back, she dumped out her candy and thought really hard about what one she wanted to eat first.

Earlier in the week we went to my parent's ward party. Kylee didn't like that at all. One of the men there dressed up as a gorilla and scared her so bad she was shaking and couldn't move. I asked him to come back without his mask on so she could see he wasn't real and what did he do? Came running at her down the hall with his mask on shaking his arms and screeching! She freaked out and was shaking forever. She was honestly pale! I felt so bad! It's a good thing Ben wasn't there or that monkey would've been down on the ground so fast!

Anyway, she wouldn't let me put her down at all and was only calm after she got a whistle, crayons, and a little pad of paper.

For the next day or two out of the blue she would say, "Scary Monkey." :(

When my nieces slept over, I wanted to do something fun for them so I decided to make some spooky Halloween food. For breakfast we had wrotten eggs (dyed green eggs), dragon scales (red french toast), and gobblin blood (lemon-lime punch).

Lunch was shrunken mummy heads (mini pizzas).

Dinner was my favorite though.
Swamp worms (spaghetti), monster eyeballs (meatballs with olives on them), witch fingers (string cheese with fruit snack nails), and goblin blood (punch).

They loved it and I had a lot of fun making it for them!

There you go, my great big out of order Halloween post!

Pumpkin Walk

Last week Ben's mom came up to Logan for a visit and we went to the annual Pumpkin Walk. We had never been before and LOVED IT! It was so much fun and totally free!

When you we first walked in the park they had a bunch of characters you put your face in for a picture, so of course I made Kylee do all of them she would let me!

She did have a hard time keeping her hands out of the way and the second she would put her face in she would say, "all done" and hurry and move.

I'm pretty sure the theme this year was cartoon movies and tv shows. Different families, church groups, etc. each create a scene using pumpkins and most of them have music playing. They are AMAZING! I can't believe how much work went into them. I think at night they have them lit up with spotlights and the pumpkins on the hay bails are lit up too. The first one we saw was Bug's Life which Kylee loved since it's one of the movies we watch regularly.

She was mad I pulled her away from staring at it to take a picture.

Next to Bug's Life was a Toy Story one and it was her FAVORITE!! She stood there forever dancing to the music and naming everyone she saw.

Another picture she didn't want to take.

We walked up the line to see more and she kept walking back to the Toy Story one. It took quite a bit of prodding to get her to move on.

There were SO MANY awesome scenes, but I didn't take pictures of all of them, just a few of my favorites. The Little Mermaid.

Cat In The Hat. (That is a real bath tub!)

I thought this Sponge Bob one was awesome!

Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs (even though there were eight Ü).

Peanuts. I loved the snoopy, EVERY part of him was made of pumpkins!

Ky couldn't help but pet the puppys in the 101 Dalmations scene.

Another movie we watch multiple times a week, Monster's Inc.

She kept waving and saying "Hi Mike! Hi Mike!".

We LOVED the Princess And The Frog one!! It was darling!!

Kylee started dancing to the music as soon as she heard it.

She just sat and looked at it for a long time.

Madagascar was awesome too! They totally brought in a treadmill!

Check out Melman! EVERYTHING is made of pumpkins or squash of some kind!

The monkeys looked perfect!

So did the penguins!

At the end Kylee even sat on the witch's lap! I'm pretty sure it was because she wanted to pet the stuffed kitten, but I was still impressed she did it!

We had so much fun and plan to go back every year!!
