My Big Girl

My little Ky Ky has gotten so big! Today was her first day in nursery and she did amazing! We've been taking her to the gym day care for a long time so she's used to playing with new kids in new places. She went in like a champ and they said she played like she'd been there for a long time. I went in to get her and she didn't want to leave because she was having so much fun with the bubbles. Makes me feel good to know she's having fun in there, especially when some kids are so sad and cry the whole time. Tomorrow morning will also be her last time nursing. Kind of mixed emotions for me today. I know it's a good thing that she's growing up and becoming such a big girl, but I've loved nursing and it's what I've done every day for the past almost 19 months. Well, on to the next stage of toddlerhood I guess! Here's some fun pictures from sometime last week.

I can't believe how much hair she's gotten all of a sudden!
She's really starting to love playing with baby dolls, maybe a sign of something soon to come? Ü (No, I'm not pregnant, but I can't say I'm not thinking more and more about it.)

Ky loves to play the piano. She'll look at me and say "Pano. Song." I'll put her up on the bench and she'll flip through the hymn book until she finds something she wants to play.
She also loves to "play" the computer. Look at her on those tip toes!

Schofield Triathlon

Last weekend I did my second triathlon so far. It was so much fun! It was up at Schofield Reservior and my family and I made a little weekend trip out of it. We decided to stay at a hotel in Springville since it wasn't too far of a drive from the race start. Next time we'll camp at the campground right at the venue though.
We got all loaded up and headed out Friday afternoon.

Ky was all set in the back with her sippy and DVD player.
Even though she faded pretty quickly on the way there with it being nap time and all. We went and picked up my wetsuit from the rental store and had a fun night swimming at the hotel and hanging out in the room.

The morning of the race we got to the lake and I got all my stuff set up.

This was the first time I wore a wetsuit and I must say I loved it! It really did make the swim much easier since I was more boyant. Unfortunately, someone decided they wanted to take my wetsuit from the transition area while I was running. I'm going to have to buy it since I was renting it which is a bummer.

Ky and Ben were the best cheerleaders ever! Any woman Ky saw with a wetsuit and a pink swim cap (which there were a ton of), she'd wave and yell "Mommy! Doh, Mommy!"

The swim start.

Just getting done with the swim and getting ready to hop on the bike.

The bike went really well until when I was a mile from being done and my pedal FELL OFF! It was so crazy, I was having a hard time getting it back on, but a man who was watching the race came over with plyers and helped me get it back on. I lost 10 minutes doing it, but it stayed on to the finish.
Here I am coming in to the finish line!!

I had so much fun and even with the few hiccups, the race was a blast!
Ky even helped me with my post-race goodies.

She was so good and after the long day just couldn't stay awake any longer.

Random Fun!

Here's some fun pictures I have from my phone the past little while.

This one is so stinkin' cute of Ky in her pool. She just sank right in and got comfy reading her book. She looks so big in her little pool!
Busy pouring water on herself.

We've been going up to Logan a lot lately and my sister Courtney lives in Hyrum with her family. Ky has been loving playing with her cousin Paige. Paige gave Ky this little battery powered 4-wheeler that's to small for her and Kylee has so much fun on it.

They had a lot of fun at Walmart in the huge, very akward to push shopping cart. Court was such a good sport to push it the whole time Ü.

She got a really fun turtle drum that lights up for her birthday and was playing it in her room in the dark the other day. These couple pictures are kind of hard to see, but still kinda cool.

She loves to eat olives, but has to eat them one at a time after putting them on her finger first. I remember doing that when I was little too.

Cute little stinker! As soon as I have my phone out no matter what I'm doing, she smiles real big and says "Cheese!" until I take her picture.

I'm thinkin' this was on the way home from the park one day. Sometimes she just can't stay awake on the ride home if it's close to naptime.

Eating applesauce all by herself. Sometimes the spoon just isn't fast enough so she uses her fingers.

Another silly smile picture.
She loves playing in the sandbox at my parent's house. She had SO MUCH sand in her hair after this though, it covered the bottom of the tub.

My and My Bug

We had just woken up and decided we wanted to play in bed for a while. I took out my phone to take a couple pictures since she always smiles big when it's out.

They're kind of hard to see because it was still dark in there, but they're really fun. I love being silly with my Princess. She's so much fun to play with and can be really silly!

New Hat

So, we were eating dinner the other night and I hear Kylee saying, "Hat! Hat!". I look over and she's wearing her bowl with sweet and sour sauce in it on her head. She was pretty proud of herself so I just left it there.

You can kind of see it in this picture, but it was pretty messy.

Yeah, she looks like she's up to no good.

Ky loves playing with the dogs.

She also just discovered how much fun climbing and playing on the fence is.

4th of July

We had a really fun 4th of July (well, 3rd of July) this year full of Family, Food, and Fireworks! Here's my little Princess excited for the parade to start.

Ky and Daddy watching the Parade.

I think she's liking it!

She loved sticking her hands out to get the candy.
