What We've Been Up To

I'm finally caught up on my posting now! Here are some pictures that are randoms, but that I wanted to get posted.

We've been busy!! We have taken pictures being silly.

Been wild animals!

Played dress up.

Kylee loves to play dress up with Prince Coltee.

Watched movies together.

Especially any of the Toy Story movies with all of the gang.

Played silly with Daddy.

And with Mommy.

Played with our toys.

Just been darling and extremely happy.

Sucked our thumbs.

Logged lots of tummy time.

Read stories to each other.

And have had fun being with each other.

Day At The Treehouse Museum

Last weekend we took the kiddos to the Treehouse Museum in Ogden. Kylee loved running around playing with everything. She really loved riding the horses.

And so did Colton.

My little cowgirl!!

She played in the boat and caught some fish.

And loved making music with all sorts of different instruments.

Boo-Bear even got in on the drumming.

Jumperoo

We bought this jumper when Ky was a baby and Colton just loves it. He's started jumping in it and loves playing with the little toys.

Of course Ky likes to help him play with it and teaches him how to grab the banana.

Potty Training Take 2

So just after Colton was born we decided to potty train Kylee. I posted about it a couple months ago so I'll just recap a little. She did really well for a week or so and then started having accidents and we decided it would be best to wait a little while and try again. Just after Thanksgiving we decided to give it another shot but go at it a different way. My sister Natalie told me when she potty trained her twins they used the bare bum method and worked like a charm. We decided that's what we'd do and in the first week she only had 1 accident. It's been over a month and she has only had 2 or three accidents and has done awesome! She'll go to the bathroom and say, "I did it all by myself! I did so awesome!! I didn't need your help!"

The best part about bare bum potty training is they don't wear pants at home, only when going out and about. I got to see this darling little bum every day! We just started putting her in panties and pants last week and she has done so well with it! It's the cutest thing, drop her pants and panties down to her ankles and then waddle to the bathroom. She's got the order a little backwards but hasn't had any accidents. She has even gotten up on the toilet by herself a few times. She loves the little toilet and sink at church though and says she needs to go when we're out and about just to see if the other bathrooms have them. Yay to my big girl and only changing one diapered bum a day!!

Tasty Toes

My little guy is a thumb sucker and loves his thumb.

But recently he has found his toes.

And decided he was going to taste them for the first time.

Apparently he had toe jam or something. Not the best first taste, but he loves them now!

Eating Like A Big Boy

Why is my little man so excited? Because this was the day he got to have licorice for the first time!

Apparently Daddy wasn't giving it to him fast enough and he had to speed up his hand.

He loved it and cried when it was taken away.

The next day we introduced him to baby food (yeah, silly order, I know). Kylee wanted to help feed him and loved every second of it.

He liked the cereal, but the sweet potatoes he got the next day were definitely his favorite. We couldn't spoon it in fast enough.

The last couple spoonfuls he decided he was too tired to eat anymore so we had to call it a night.
