Getting Cabin Fever!
Ky and I are DEFINATELY getting cabin fever! Good thing she is such a good baby and has lots of fun things to do and play with. We were playing in her room the other day and she was standing up by herself so much! She's using her walker all the time too. She's so close to walking!

She has some fascination with her diaper genie (gross, I know). She had her finger in the top and it closed. I promise it didn't hurt, she can just be a little dramatic.

Did I mention this one too?

Double The Party, Double The Fun!
Today was my nieces Issy and Gabi's third birthday and party at Chuck E. Cheese. I got to make their princess cake and it turned out darling! They got to put on the cute little princesses and candles.

The bottom tier was white with hot pink polka dots.

Oh To Be A 10 Year Old Girl!
My niece Preslee just turned 10 and I got to make her cake for her party. She wanted bright colors and stars and peace signs.
The cake was a 2 tier topsy cake in hot pink, lime green, and white.

Then I made a bunch of cookie pops with peace signs on them.
The finished cake and cookie pops!
So This Is What It's Like!
On Monday we decided it was FINALLY time to turn Ky's carseat forward. At first she just sat there with the funniest look on her face. I'm sure it was weird watching everything out the front window instead of everything going backwards out the back window. She loved it though! We love it too! It's so nice being able to just turn around and see her.

Messy Ky!
We were eating something messy for dinner one night so I pulled Kylee's sleves up so she wouldn't get them dirty. Yeah, good thing I did that! She hated having her sleves up so she ended up plastering them trying to get them back down. Bibs don't stay on long so I didn't bother with one of those either. Oh well, that's what they made Shout for right?

I've also decided it's time to let her start using a spoon all by herself every now and then. That was another super messy dinner night.

She was actually really careful getting the food on her spoon.

One Year Old!
Ky had her first birthday a week ago and I would have posted all this stuff then, but we had quite the week. She got ANOTHER cold and when we took her in for her 12 month checkup her Dr. told us she also had an ear infection. She had 3 shots on top of it and since they were out of flu shots we get to do that next week. No Bueno! After a few sleepless nights and lots of medicine she's back to her normal darling self.

Here are her numbers from the doctor. She weighs 19.88 lbs (29%), she's 30.5 in. long (89%), and her head is 76%. So basically she's tall and skinny, which I believe since of her 18 month jeans are too loose around the waist but the perfect length.
Some of the things she's doing right now are:

She can't help but stick out her tongue when she's really concentrating. She gets that from her Daddy Ü.

Some of the things she's doing right now are:
- She loves to read. She'll pick up a book, put it in her lap, turn each page and read it to herself.
- She has to be the one to turn the pages of her books when Ben or I read to her.
- If you ask her where the kitty or puppy is in her book she'll find it and point to it with a big smile on her face.
- She's really good at making animal sounds. She does a dog, cow, owl, and elephant.
- If you ask her where her ducky is when she's in the bathtub she'll look around until she finds it and then show it to you.
- She blows you kisses when she feels like it.
- She's pretty content crawling and will use her walker every once in a while, but hasn't taken any steps on her own yet.
- She pulls the funniest little faces and is getting quite the personality with occasional temper tantrums.
- Goes to bed mostly awake now and knows what Ni-Night means.
- She loves to get ahold of our cell phones and put them up to her head and talk on them. Usually she throws in a "Hi" somewhere in the conversation.
- She waves and says "Hi" to everyone, even people in the grocery store. If you say Bye to her she'll wave at you until you leave.
- If you point to her food when she's eating and say "AH" she'll put it up to your mouth, but quickly take it away and eat it with a big smile.
- She's mastered going up the stairs, it's just coming back down that's the hard part.
Here are a few darling pictures I took the other day.
