Ducky!
She looks darling with it on!
Playing peek-a-boo. This is one of her favorite games, but usually it's with her blanket.
Olay! Olay Olay Olay!
Princess Sophia

Sometimes she gets in and plays with Ky and her toys. Eventually Ky squeals and scares her away, but it's fun while it lasts.
New Sippy
Thank goodness for Walmart! I swear they have everything! She loves this cup and it's perfect for her to hold all by herself.

She wasn't so happy after she banged it on the counter and it splashed her in the face. This girl makes me laugh so hard!
Not Now Mom, We're Playing!
I love this picture! They both look so into it!

Ky was pretty excited she got to play with her own controller the whole time.
'Tis the Season!

Busy Days

Unless we're cuddling reading a book or watching her favorite show Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

Come On Teeth!!
Anytime I try to get a peek at her teeth she shuts her mouth so tight there's no way of seeing a thing. This morning I turned on Backyardigans because the loves the beginning and smiles so big when she sees it. I was able to get this picture of her teeth. You can see them just under her poor swollen gums and the tips are not quite breaking through, but are close.

I bought her some pedialite to keep her hydrated since she was going through so many diapers, but she wouldn't drink it because sucking on her sippy cup hurt her gums. My genius husband thought we should see if she'd drink it from a straw. She had never drank from one before but caught on so fast and doesn't spill a drop.

10 Months!

- Gives High 5's. Well, they're more like low fives, but she loves doing it!
- Can click her tongue and has gotten the noise really loud.
- Pulls herself up to anything and everything, even in the slippery bath tub. She's learned how to get down on her own so I don't have to save her when she gets stuck in her crib anymore.
- Says "Mama", "Dada", "Oughto", "Yay", and "Hi". When she drops something she says "oughto", whenever someone says "yay" she says it too and claps, and when she's playing with the phone or waving she says "hi". She even said "bye" for the first time today waving so there's another one!
- Loves cats, especially Sophie. Ky will chase her all around and play with her tail. Sophie is really good and just lets her do it.
- Sucks her thumb and plays with Mommy's hair all the time now. I'm pretty sure it's her comfort thing. I absolutely love it, it is so sweet!
- Loves to bite Daddy's nose when they play. I'm sure those little teeth are pretty sharp, but he's a tough guy and just keeps letting her do it.
- Has 2 teeth, but is going to add the top two middle to her collection any day. Poor Bug, these two are no fun and she's not feeling too good, but she's a trooper!
- Gives big kisses when Ben or I give her cheek butterfly kisses. Another incredibly sweet thing I just can't get enough of!
- Loves eating finger foods. She says "MMMMMmmmmm" the WHOLE time she's eating too. Must be pretty good!
- Loves to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and dances when they do the Hot Dog Dance at the end.
- says "aaawwwww" (like an Indian) whenever someone taps their hand over her mouth and then laughs at how silly she is.
Ben and I were watching some of the videos we have on our video camera tonight and couldn't believe how much she has changed and grown in the past 10 months. I found myself getting sad when I saw her so little and brand new. I'm not sure why, maybe because my little girl is growing so fast and needs me less and less each day. It's hard to see her doing more and more things on her own, but then I realized that she is growing and learning exactly how she is supposed to and I get to show her how to keep learning everyday. I love getting to play with her and show her new things. I love how her face lights up when she sees something new and exciting. I love when she reaches for me and I get to just hold her while she lays her head on my shoulder sucking her thumb and plays with my hair. She makes me so happy and I am so excited to get to continue watching her, helping her along the way, and being her Mommy.

It's A Bird, It's A Plane, It's.....
The Difference A Couple Weeks Makes!

She loves to pull herself up next to anything and is getting really good at it. You should see her killer calf muscles! She's especially good at pulling up to the couch and walking along it while holding on. She can move pretty fast when she wants to too.

But sometimes getting down is a little tricky.
