5 Months!!

Wow! I can't believe my Little Lady is already so big! These past 5 months have been amazing!


~Ky loves to cuddle up next to Mommy and fall asleep on the bed. I know, bad for her sleep habits but it's just so sweet!

~She's really starting to get the hang of solid food. So far she's had rice cereal, green beans (loves this one), sweet peas, sweet potatoes, carrots, and applesauce. Most of the time she gets it up her nose, in her eye, and has quite the collection under her chin and all over her neck.

~She says "Hi" by feeling and playing with people's faces, especially Mommy and Daddy. She'll sit and play with my face and talk and give me huge grins.

~Bath time is now in the "big bath". She has so much fun kicking her legs around and splashing everywhere. She did this in the baby bath too, but the big bath splashes really good!

~Ky has discovered her feet and loves to have her legs up in the air. She inspects them any chance she gets and got the first taste of her toes!

~Giggles are coming more and more, especially when Daddy makes his silly kissy noises and when Mommy gives her lots of noisy kisses on her neck and legs. Peek-a-Boo also produces some good laughs.

~Walks are a must, she loves to be outside and experience everything over and over again. We go to the park whenever we can and lie on a blanket under the trees. She loves to watch the wind blow them around and the sun shine through.

~Mommy's hair is REALLY fun to grab and she's FAST at getting a good hold on it!

~5 Little Ducks is Ky's favorite song and she loves when Mommy does all the actions. She loves when we read books too.

~Somehow she always manages to get her pesky blanket up over her head when she's playing and starts breathing hard and moving her arms and legs all around. As soon as we move it she just smiles ear to ear! Silly Princess!
