Our 4th of July Weekend

We had a pretty full 4th of July weekend!!

We started off going to the Oakley Rodeo. This is one of my favorite rodeos and we go every year. Kylee loved watching all the events and was so good the whole time.

The next day we went boating up at Pineview. It was her first time on a boat and she did really good. She wasn't so sure about the life jacket though.

We started off the 4th of July with the Kaysville 10k run. Kylee loved being in her jogging stroller and even got in a little nap.

We staked out our spots for the parade a couple days before so we had prime seats. Of course it was right during nap time, but she somehow managed to fall asleep during the first 30 minutes which was the loudest (fire trucks, ambulances, police cars, you name it.) Ky loved watching all the floats, but her favorite thing was the red bead necklace she got from the Taco Time float.

I made these yummy treats for the BBQ later that day. They were a hit!

Last but not least, the fireworks! At this point it was way past Ky's bedtime and she was starting to get pretty tired so we got her to bed and Ben and I watched the fireworks from the porch. It was really nice just the two of us.

There you have it! Our fun filled weekend and one of my favorite holidays!!
