Our 2 Year Old Princess

Wow, I'm really slow getting this post done, but my little princess turned 2 on the 8th! I honestly can't believe how quickly she's grown. I love every minute of every day with her and am so blessed to be her mommy. She has us laughing all the time and I am constantly amazed with what she can say and has learned. Here's a FEW of the things off the top of my head:
  • She is talking in FULL SENTENCES. I mean, they totally make sense and most of the time her grammar is perfect.
  • She loves to sing songs with me and knows at least half of each one by heart (Itsy bitsy spider, you are my sunshine, Jesus wants me for a sunbeam, etc.).
  • Loves to play toys and do puzzles. She especially loves to build towers with her legos. We do this at least 4 times a day. She's pick where to put a lego and say, "This goes right here."
  • She gives the best compliments. All the time she'll look at me and say, "Oh, pretty necklace mommy", or "Pretty earrings mommy".
  • She also says thank you for everything. I gave her a gummy vitamin after lunch the other day and it must have been a really good one because she smiled and said, "Thank you mommy for da gummy." Such good manners Ü.
  • She says the sweetest prayers. She always starts out by saying thank you and naming everyone and everything she is thankful for. I usually add things in the middle and at the end she says, "Say dees things, in da name, Jesus Christ, Amen."

There's so much more, but at the moment this is all I will list. Ben and I love her so much and are loving watching her grow every day. She is going to be the best big sister too!!

She had her 2 year check up the other day and I was so proud of her. She was such a big girl! Her new pediatrician is AMAZING and she liked him right away. She even told him after being there a couple minutes that she saw Mickey on ice. He showed her all the instruments he was going to use and would ask her before he could listen to her belly or look in her ears. She would look at him with a smile and say, "Yes." She sat there so still and was perfect. She even said ,"AAaaaaaahhhhhh" nice and wide for him to look in her mouth. He was pretty impressed. Before we left she got a flu shot and didn't even flinch. What a big girl! Her stats are: Weight - 29 lbs. (75%) and height 35 inches (78%).

I love this one. She was really working hard to get the ornament to spin.
