I guess if anyone was going to have a thumb sucking baby it would be me. I sucked my thumb until I went to Kindergarden and it looks like Kylee is taking after her mom. For the past couple days she's sucked her thumb until she falls asleep. As adorable as it is, I have my fingers crossed it won't last too long. Unlike a binki, I can't exactly take away her thumb when she's too old. Sometimes it sounds like she's going to suck her thumb clean off! She's so dang cute, she'll suck her thumb with one hand (usually her left, which her dad is thrilled about) and play with her hair with the other. I'm pretty sure sucking her thumb is a huge reason why she's sleeping so much better, especially at night. The past few nights she has slept for 6-8 hours at a time! Nap times are great too, I put her in her crib and she'll just suck her thumb to sleep, NO CRYING! I think I am going to keep working on the binki even though I love how cute this is.
