Hogle Zoo

Last week we went to the zoo for Kylee's first time. I think at first she was a little overwhelmed and didn't know what to look at first. (Her hair only looks really greasy because I doused her in sunscreen).

We headed over to the elephants and of course she started freaking out and making elephant noises at them.

The monkeys were probably her favorite though. Everytime we saw one she started making monkey noises at it. She had everyone laughing in each exhibit.

We spotted the carousel and had to go ride it. Ky was pretty scared at first and did not want to get on the elephant. I'm thinking it's because of our crazy pony ride at Thanksgiving Point a few weeks back.

Once we started moving she decided she really liked it and had a lot of fun.

As soon as we got off the carousel she started running up one of the steep hills.

This was a pretty big one for her little legs, but that didn't slow her down one bit.

I wasn't sure why she was in such a hurry, but then I spotted it. She saw a squirl and had to go chase it.

At the top of the hill we saw some camels.

And a peacock that came to investigate Kylee.

On the way out we stopped to ride the train. All day whenever she saw it pass by, she'd get really excited and wave and say "Hi!" to the kids riding it. She was pretty excited to finally be getting her turn!

When we started moving she was kind of unsure, but quickly figured out it was tons of fun.

We had a great time at the zoo and can't wait to go back and take Daddy!
