Eight Months!

Well, another month has come and gone! My baby is already eight months old! Here's a rundown of what she's up to.

• She just started crawling! It's in the beginning stages, but it's so cute and she's so proud of herself when she does it. She creeps up to her tippy toes and sticks her bum in the air. Then she inches forward with her toes and reaches real far with one arm while throwing her head to the side for momentum. She does that again with the other side and goes back and forth until she gets where she wants to go.
• She loves to wave at everyone. If you say "Hi" and wave at her she gets a big smile and starts waving back.
• Whenever anyone says "Yay!" she claps! I love this one, especially when I sit infront of her and she claps when I clap. Sometimes she combines waving and clapping and it's a really big double wave.
• No more feeding Ky her cereal treats, she can do it all by herself. She so delicately picks one up with her thumb and forefinger and puts it right in her mouth. The other day she even started sharing with Ben and put them in his mouth for him. I wasn't so lucky though.
• She's definately mastered "Mama" and "Dada".
• So far she has 2 teeth and she loves to bite Ben's fingers with them. We might be getting another one because she's been oh so happy lately and is drooly and has a runny nose so we'll see.
• She finally found a sippy cup she likes. She can hold it all by herself and gets better at drinking it everytime.
• We recently started getting big, slobbery, open mouth kisses. I love them! I have to say Ben gets them more than I do so when they come my way I'm a happy momma!
• She's starting to become quite the Mama's girl and sometimes we get quite the episode when I leave her view.
• She does the funniest little fake cry. She makes sure you're looking at her and then she squints her eyes and starts pouting and then looks to make sure you saw. What a silly girl!

She amazes me every day with how much the learns and does. While it's sometimes sad to see she's not my little newborn anymore, I just love watching her grow and each new stage is even better than the last! I love you baby girl!! (oh yeah, I'll post her 8 month pictures in a day or 2)
