Willow Park Zoo

Logan has the cutest little zoo that is $1.00 for adults and .50 for kids. You can walk around as long as you want and there are little pavilions in the middle. Kylee and I went one day back in November when Ben was at work for a get out of the house outing. We loved it! First we saw the ducks and Kylee would've stayed there and looked at them the whole time if I had let her. This corner of the zoo also had coyotes, a bobcat, deer, vultures, and eagles.

There were at least a dozen different kinds of pheasants, an owl, ravens, and lots of other birds. She loved trying to feed them leaves. through the fence. We saw racoons (or if you ask Kylee, "Yak-a-noons"), porcupines, capuchin monkeys, and a wallaby. She LOVED the wallaby and said it was a kangaroo (or as she says, "Kay-nah-noo"). I told her to hop like a kangaroo and she did it with a huge smile on her face for a good 5 minutes everywhere we went.

One end of the zoo had a big duck pond with a few places you could feed them pellets you buy from a machine for a dime. She got the hang of how to throw the food through the fence and has quite an arm!

We fed the ducks for a long time! She'd much rather feed the little ones over the big noisy ones.

She kept asking me, "Turtles? Turtles?". Right at the end before we left, we looked in another pond and saw three of them sitting on a rock. Perfect!

We loved the zoo and will definitely go back often when the weather gets warm again. Can't beat an afternoon at the zoo and park for that cheap!
