2 Months Old (Well, 2 1/2 Months)

My little guy turned 2 months old 2 weeks ago and isn't so little anymore. He is such a happy boy and will sit and "talk" to you with a huge smile on his face. Here are his stats from his doctor visit:

16 lbs. 4 oz. (95th percentile)

25 inches (90th percentile)

The doctor said he is the size of a 4-5 month old. That's my big boy!! Here are some of the darling things he does.

• He wakes up super happy and is really smiley right off the bat in the mornings and after nap time.
• After he wakes up I reach his arms up above his head and he automatically does a big stretch with a big grin on his face. Must feel good!
• He is really ticklish. His armpits, legs, tummy, chest, neck, you name it. His little laugh when you find the right spot is adorable! He even giggles when he gets his diaper changed if you wipe just the right spot. So darling!
• He has been doing so good at sleeping. The last couple weeks he's taken two 3-4 hour naps and one shorter nap each day. Most times I just lay him down all bundled up and he falls right to sleep or he fusses just for a minute. Most nights bedtime is the same way and he only wakes up once or twice in the night.
• Colton loves his big sister. When he hears her he turns to find where she is and sits and smiles at her the whole time. He loves lying on her pillow in bed with her.
• He is already wearing 3-6 month clothes and has been for about a month already. Some of it is actually too small so 6-9 month stuff will probably fit him anyday now. That's my big boy!!
• He's been sucking his thumb more and more, but mostly when he's falling asleep (if he works his arms out of being swaddled and doesn't have his binki in his mouth) and at night when he wakes up and is hungry while I'm changing his diaper or when he's in his crib before I get him out.

This one was the day he actually turned 2 months old. I love you my little bubba!!!
