Best Buddies

I am so blessed to have two amazing, darling, perfect little children that genuinely love each other. Kylee gets so excited when she sees her brother and is such a helper. She loves pushing him in his swing and sharing her toys with him. She can make him smile even if he's in the middle of fussing and is his big protector. If he wakes up and she can hear him fussing on the monitor, she'll turn to me and say, "Mommy, Coltee is awake. He's crying, go get him." One day I heard him fussing on the monitor and then heard her walk into the room, climb up on the side of his crib and say, "What's wrong sweetheart. Don't cry, be happy." Melted my heart!! She got to feed him a bottle for the first time the other day and had a huge smile on her face the whole time. She is an amazing big helper and has never been jealous of him.

Colton loves his big sister just as much as she loves him. He hears her voice and turns to see where she is before smiling from ear to ear when he sees her. One of his favorite places to be is lying next to her on her pillow. I'll lay him there when we read books at night and he'll look at the book and wave his arms around cooing at the pages. She'll giggle of course at how silly he is and laugh even harder when his hand accidentally brushes her armpit or when he gets a handful of her hair.
