Loves His Thumb!

Seriously, what are the odds of me being my parent's only thumb sucker and my kids both suck their thumbs? We were told by Ky's dentist to start weening her off her thumb which is going to be super hard anyway. The other day Colton was sucking his thumb and she looked at me with a huge smile and said, "Mom, Coltee is sucking his thumb like I do!!" Great!! How am I supposed to get her to stop with him doing it? Oh well. Anyway, Colton has never really liked binkis and just naturally wanted to suck his thumb. This picture was the first time he got it on his own around the first week in October. He does the same cute think Ky did where he puts his hand palm down on his cheek by his ear and slides it over to his mouth until he gets his thumb in. He mostly sucks it when he's tired or hungry. Two weeks ago he got really good at it and has been sleeping 12 hours a night since!!

When he was still getting the hang of it he'd suck his thumb with his fingers stretched out covering his nose.
