This was the first cake I made. My Grandma was having a pie party where every family brought a pie to share. I decided to make a cake that looked like a pie just for fun.
I made it a "cherry" pie with red buttercream.
Then I weaved on the "crust". Turned out pretty cute!
Saturday morning I made a smash cake for a friend's little girl's first birthday. I did a white cake with pink buttercream. She wanted piped snowflakes and I loved the end result.

I also made her 3 dozen pink lemonade cupcakes with lemonade buttercream icing. So fun!
Saturday was also the big Utah/BYU football game. I had planned to make a helmet cake, but with all my baking I got a little rushed to get it done in the 3 hours before the game. Here is the U side (the best side :) ).
