She was pretty excited to get to FINALLY rip open her present that had been under Grandma's tree for weeks and not being able to touch it!
Even though once she tore off the first piece of wrapping paper she would have been totally content just playing with that.
She loved her Puppies and Kittens book though. We got to read it while everyone opened up their presents.
Then we headed upstairs to our tree to see that SANTA CAME!!!!
As soon as Ky saw Minnie Mouse in her stocking she crawled as fast as she could over to it and yanked her out. She was so excited to see her Minnie!
But, Minnie was quickly thrown to the ground when she noticed there was also a popcorn ball AND a clementine in there. Her favorites! She must have been a really good girl!! She actually started working on eating the clementine with the peel and I had to show her that the good stuff is on the inside.
She had so much fun opening presents. I had to start the unwrapping for her so she had something to hold on to and pull, but she got the hang of it.
I think pulling the tissue paper out of the bags as fast as she could was her favorite though.
She got a bunch of new books, which I loved because I know all her old ones by heart.
We even had to stop and take a little reading break so she could check them out.
She got pretty excited to open this shiny red present.
Even though there was just a bunch of clothes in it. She tossed them out of the box one by one.
And even decided to try the pants on.......her head.
Her favorite present was the one Santa brought her, a fun walker/car!!! Maybe this will help her decide she wants to start working on walking (or even standing by herself Ü). Honestly, I think she was mostly excited about the box.

I had so much fun watching Kylee and helping her unwrap her presents. I'm pretty sure she had a fun first Christmas!
Once Ky was done with her gifts, Ben and I started opening ours. I got some new pajamas since what I've been sleeping in is REALLY ghetto and embarrassing, a BUNCH of new purses, and my registration for the Iron Girl Triathlon at Lake Las Vegas this coming May!
Ben had a surprise in his stocking too, he was all registered for the Vineman Triathlon in California this coming July!!

He got some sweet new triathlon swim goggles and lense spray to go with it, some supplements, and a sweet new quilt I made him.

Kylee's favorite gift her Daddy got was his snow stick for snowball fights. If that face doesn't spell trouble I don't know what does!
Later that evening we went over to my parent's house for the Hoss Family Dinner. All the kids had brought with them at least one present they got and we ate TONS of good food. My mom is an AMAZING cook and had prepared a 20 pound turkey to feed the army that is my family!

I love how happy she looks opening that Playskool box...she is so cute. I can't believe she is almost a year old. Time flies!!! Glad you guys had a good Christmas.
